A montage of spontaneous activities and images from Martinique
The Martinique Magazine series is a fun collection of different views that spontaneously happened, as opposed the interview series, which had specific themes and focuses. In this segment, Martinique Magazine 1, there is a scene on the beach of two men sparring playfully while three women are talking with each other, at times talking about the Martinique form of Capoeira, Damier, both of which came from the Ovimbundu of Angola. In the second part of this chapter, we see les pecheurs, fishermen, as they are untangling their nets. It's notable that this involves young and old alike, and is a very picturesque sight. This was taken on the west coast of the island, on the Caribbean sea side.

This is an example of Bele singing and musicians.
